Harvard WiCS

I'm passionate about increasing diversity in computer science and expanding access to CS opportunities and resources. This year, I'm leading recruitment on the board of Harvard's Women in Computer Science (WiCS) club. I recruited our largest-ever new member class of over 200 women and people of marginalized genders (that's over 64% of the 2027 Harvard class interested in computer science and engineering).

From 2022-2023, I was Director of Programming for Harvard WECode, the world's largest student-run conference for women in computer science. I sourced speakers to connect with our diverse international audience of 900+ women in CS with a specific focus on speakers from nontraditional backgrounds.

The STEM Symposium

In high school, I ran an annual STEM conference for high schoolers called the STEM Symposium. We were sponsored by the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute, Argo AI, and Carnegie Mellon University's Computational Biology Department.

Over 200 students attended the 2020 Symposium, learning about computational biology and AI from entrepreneurs and researchers. Students also learned about opportunities like the Hillman Academy.
